We teach our clients that mindful eating isn’t a strategy of only meal planning. It’s lifestyle factors like learning to recognize hunger hijackers.

One of the most prominent hunger hijackers our clients face is stress. Study after study shows that when you put people in stressful situations, they have a much harder time making mindful choices about food. Daily our clients face real stressors of life, such as tough divorces, unexpected bills, irritating relatives, and frustrating bosses. We help our clients learn how to apply techniques that get them back in their body and their rational thinking mind back online so they can make a choice rather than feeling overwhelmed by food choices and guilt.
